Hello all. This has been bugging me for such a long time now, after all the complaints i have received i decided to get to the bottom of the problem. Firstly, i have a pc running M$ Win XP Pro with all the relevant updates and a laptop running M$ Win 7 with all the updates as well. My Flashchat 4.5.6 has fb3's 456Left video/audio module installed.
Here is the senario:
I use two browsers on both; IE8 and FireFox 3.6.6. They both join the Flashchat on both platforms with no problems, however, on the XP platform, Firefox does not display correctly neither does IE8. This is the same for Win 7. Firstly, on the XP platform, I uninstalled IE8 and reinstalled IE7. I used a Adobe Flash Player (AFP) uninstaller from Adobe and got rid of the AFP v10.1 from the system and rebooted. I then installed AFP v9.0.277.0 and then run IE7. This now displays the Flashchat correctly. Where Firefox is concerned, i had to uninstall the 3.6.6 version completely and install FF v2.0. After a reboot, this then displayed correctly. I updated FF using its own updater untill i reach v3.6.6. This however reminds me that the AFP v9.0.277.0 is insecure but displays correctly.
As for Win7, this does not connect with the video/audio at all with either IE8 or FF 3.6.6 but does connect to the Flashchat. All of the settings are the same for the router and firewalls in both platforms.
Can someone give me any idea as to why Win7 does not connect to the video/audio

or give me a better solution to this problem.
